If Hollywood has taught us something, it's {that a} blockbuster that makes financial institution will get a sequel (or seven). Enter A Minecraft Film, with its surprisingly efficient humor and $957 million field workplace payday. (Who had "Jack Black will anchor an almost billion-dollar film" on their 2025 bingo card?) So, it's no shock that Warner Bros. has formally greenlit a sequel.
Selection experiences that Warner Bros. has penciled within the sequel for a July 23, 2027, premiere date. That will place it round two years after the unique, which is the second-highest-grossing movie of the 12 months up to now. (Disney's Lilo & Sew is in first, with a cool $1.03 billion on the field workplace.)
